The Institute fulfills theoretical and experimental works in the area of urban territory development. Scientifically grounded proposals based on a system analysis with regard to a considered territory characteristics are implemented in documents of territorial planning and urban development zoning. Preparation of master plans and based-on programs for an integrated territory development in order to establish functional zones, determine planned arrangement of federal, regional, and local significance objects, create effective methods for urban planning solutions to ensure a long-term development of municipal units.

5. Land planning documentation
Preparation of land planning documentation (planning designs, demarcation plans, and engineering survey materials) is performed to ensure sustainable development of territories including allocation of planning structure elements, establishing of common area boundaries as well as formed and changed land lots, boundaries of areas for planned arrangement of permanent facilities, determination of characteristics and priority of planned territory development.

Architectural and civil engineering and space planning design is fulfilled by preparation of documentation related to construction projects and their parts (constructed and reconstructed within the boundaries of project owner or another land proprietor).
