Every year, the National Guild of Urban Planners holds a Session of Urban Planners, bringing together the best experts and specialists in the field of spatial development management, territorial planning and urban planning, regional and municipal executive authorities, leading design institutes, scientists and professors.
This year, the XIV Session of Urban Planners "Spatial Planning and Integrated Development of Territories" took place on March, 18-19 in an online format at the zoom platform.
NII PG director, Pavel Spirin, took part at the session with a report "Strategic approaches for a spatial planning".

The report highlighted:
- international experience of spatial policy in such countries as Great Britain, Northern Ireland, China, France, USA, Germany;
- economic development and directions of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation on the basis of the draft law "On the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation", which was prepared by the NII PG specialists in 2013;
- strategic planning in the Russian Federation;
- target priorities of the socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation;
- analysis of the potentials and priorities of spatial development, etc.
