The Summit of Young Scientists and Engineers has been held this year for the third time on April, 26-30. Talented students, graduate students, leading scientists, representatives of academic research centers, universities and leading high-tech Russian companies take part in the summit.
More than 440 students from 41 regions of Russia present more than 400 projects every year.

On April, 30 the ecosystem of the federal territory "Sirius" has been presented.
Elena Shmeleva, the head of the Educational Foundation “Talent and Success”, Andrey Stolyarov, the acting head of the federal territory “Sirius”, Roman Ivanov, the rector of the Sirius Science and Technology University, Pavel Spirin, NII PG director have participated in the summit.
One of the main priorities of the federal territory "Sirius" is the creation of convenient and effective conditions for the introduction and implementation of those technologies that will allow Russia to maintain and increase its leadership in world science.
“The federal territory is a place for communication and development, an open environment for young people, residents and partners, investors who are able to implement their promising projects here. And then distribute them to all entities of the Russian Federation,” says Elena Shmeleva.

Pavel Spirin points:
“We have an ambitious plan to build a digital “twin-city”. We have conducted a laser scan of the territory — so now we have a database of points in coordinates and space. Then development of the territory will be modeled based on the data obtained. The result will be a smart city system which will make it possible to manage, analyze and correct aspects of development.
We already have an understanding of the types of potential use and the limitations of the legal framework. Therefore, the tax base will be calculated as well as proposals for the development of related infrastructure will be accepted”.

Also, Pavel Spirin notes that ecological questions are actual because natural ecological framework and landscapes of a particular territory directly determine the development of the environment. “NII PG was one of the first to prepare environmentally oriented territorial planning and methodological approaches. When preparing master plans, we take into account the aspects related to the planning of green spaces. The existing ecological balance will be preserved on the Sirius territory, and the missing gaps will be compensated".
