Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Yuri Trutnev held a meeting on the implementation of the project to create a satellite city of Vladivostok.
“On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, master plans for the development of 25 Far Eastern cities work will be carried out. An entire agglomeration - Vladivostok and Artyom, Nadezhdinsky municipal district and Shkotovsky municipal district. As part of the Greater Vladivostok project, a satellite city will be created near the capital of the Primorsky Territory. The master plan for the satellite city has been developed since 2022. Construction work is planned to begin in 2024. 30 billion rubles have been allocated for infrastructure as part of the state program for the development of the Far East. I would like to emphasize that this is quite a big event for the Far East, for our country. We are starting to build a new city. At the same time, we have the opportunity to immediately build it correctly, developing the most important part for a seaside city - the embankment. That is, we now need to join forces and do everything correctly, beautifully and comfortably for people,” said Yuri Trutnev.
