December 25, the Interfax press center held a press conference dedicated to the upcoming All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Innovative approaches in urban development: science, education, practice".
The leading experts took part at the press conference:
- Sergey Lutchenko - First Deputy Chairman of the Urban Development Policy Committee, Chief Architect of the Leningrad Region;
- Pavel Spirin - NII PG CEO;
- Margarita Perkova - Director of the Higher School of Design and Architecture of Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University;
- Ekaterina Khmeleva – Deputy Head of the State Institution “Urban Development of Territories of the Leningrad Region”;
- Maria Kosheverskaya – General Director of the Foundation for the Development of Civil Control Mechanisms.
During the event, the speakers discussed the key issues that will be considered at the conference: innovative approaches in urban development; integration of science, education and practice; federal agenda of master planning; digitalization in architecture and urban development.
The conference will be held by the Council for Urban Development of the Leningrad Region of the St. Petersburg Union of Architects in cooperation with the Committee for Urban Development Policy of the Leningrad Region, tNII PG and Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University.
