Changes to the master plan of the resort city of Gelendzhik were developed on the basis of a municipal contract for research work.
January 14, 2022 the master plan was approved by a majority vote of the deputies of the Duma.
The main strategic goals to be achieved :
1. Creation of a comfortable and safe urban environment;
2. Improving the quality of life of the population through the development of urban infrastructure;
3. Development of the resort city of Gelendzhik as an all-season innovative medical and health center;
4. Development of the resort city of Gelendzhik as the largest recreational center in Russia;
5. Creation of a modern highly efficient agro-industrial complex;
6. Expansion of economic activities by creating new environmentally friendly and innovative enterprises;
7. Development of the resort city of Gelendzhik as a major sport center;
8. Ensuring the sustainability of existing ecological systems.
