With the participation of the chief architect of the region Anastasia Puzanova and NII PG specialists under the leadership of the head of the Engels city Maxim Leonov, a working meeting was held on the development of a Unified City Document for Engels.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the structural divisions of the administration in the field of social, transport and communal infrastructure, specialized specialists from the department of urban regulation and architecture of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Saratov Region.
Irina Grishechkina, NII PG Deputy Director for Design Projects, Chief Architect, Honorary Architect of the Russian Federation, Member of the Union of Architects of Russia, noted that the draft of a unified document is designed to comprehensively solve accumulated problems, relying on the strengths of the cities and the potential for their further development.
The chief architect of the Saratov Region Anastasia Puzanova said:
"According to the technical assignment, as part of the implementation of the first stage of the preparation of the Engels unified document, colleagues must collect and systematize the initial data for the development of a comprehensive analysis of the city's territory, compile an analytical report in order to determine the main vector of further development. The document is adopted for at least 20 years. The development strategy defined by the unified document is the basis for further preparation of programs for the comprehensive development of transport, social and engineering infrastructure, as well as the allocation of funds for the construction and reconstruction of roads, social facilities and utility networks in accordance with these programs".
