Over 300 people attended the event, which took place at the Zhashtyk Arena. Everyone was able to view the draft urban plan presentation, ask questions, and suggest additional ideas for its improvement.
Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev emphasized that the urban plan development process is being conducted openly and with the participation of city residents: over 200 official proposals have been submitted and over 10,000 responses to online surveys have been received.
NII PG representatives joined the discussion online.

NII PG Director Pavel Spirin noted that Bishkek has accumulated numerous urban development problems related to the imbalance between private development and public interests.
"The Bishkek;s urban plan is primarily aimed at protecting the interests of city residents. The document is designed to ensure the harmonious development of infrastructure and the creation of a safe and comfortable urban environment by 2050. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to develop and implement comprehensive development programs covering key areas such as social infrastructure development, transportation system modernization, and the preservation of green spaces, which play a key role in creating a comfortable and environmentally friendly urban environment. For our part, we are open to constructive suggestions from city residents and are prepared to incorporate them into our future work on the project," – emphasized Pavel Spirin.
