At the 24th International Architecture Days Festival, which was held as part of the 26th International YugBuild Exhibition in Krasnodar, the project documentation for the embankment planning in the resort town of Gelendzhik won first place in the Urban Development category and was awarded a GOLDEN DIPLOMA.
Congratulations to the project's authors: Pavel Spirin, Irina Popova, Ilya Pozdnyakov, Dmitry Parfenov, Olga Druzina, Dmitry Morozov, Mikhail Vinokurov, Evgeny Sokolov, Maryama Gurbandi, Tatyana Grishina, Natalya Mashtalir, and Victoria Sosina.
The Governor of the Krasnodar Region, Veniamin Kondratyev, who personally inspected the project on the opening day of the exhibition, highly praised the work. He emphasized Gelendzhik's uniqueness as a city boasting high-quality projects, noting that it is a major tourist attraction for tourists from across the country and is confidently transforming into a modern resort boasting outstanding architectural solutions. The governor emphasized the strategic importance of developing the embankment.
"The main idea is to increase its length, create new comfortable public spaces, expand beach areas, and ensure reliable coastal engineering protection. Particular attention is paid to accessibility, safety, and the quality of the urban environment for resort residents and visitors," noted Pavel Spirin, project manager, NII PG director RAACS academician.
