On April 24, Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan at a meeting chaired by Adylbek Kasymaliev, a new urban plan for the capital of Kyrgyzstan was approved.
The document defines the long-term development of the city until 2050: zoning, facility placement, creating a comfortable environment, and the rational use of resources. During its preparation, NII PG team studied key issues: infrastructure shortages, traffic congestion, and environmental challenges.
The urban plan provides for the development of an industrial base, the creation of new community centers, improvements to the environment, transport and social infrastructure, and the preservation of agricultural land.
A project website has been launched, digital solutions and innovative approaches have been used, and sociological surveys and public discussions with residents and experts have been conducted.
