April 20, 2026, the reporting and election conference of the St. Petersburg Union of Architects was held in St. Petersburg.
Vladimir Grigoriev, President of the St. Petersburg branch of the Union of Architects, delivered a report on activities for the period 2022–2025, detailing the work accomplished, initiatives for the development of the city's architectural community. Following the vote, Vladimir Grigoriev was unanimously re-elected as President of the St. Petersburg branch of the Union of Architects. Union members highly praised his contribution to the preservation and development of the architectural traditions of the northern capital, as well as his active position in matters of professional education and public affairs.

In addition, Union members discussed the renewal of the board. Recognizing the achievements and professional authority of their colleagues, conference participants proposed the inclusion of NII PG Director, RAACS Academician Pavel Spirin on the branch's board. This initiative also met with no objections—his candidacy was approved by all present.
After his election, Pavel Spirin thanked his colleagues for their trust:
"I promise to work for the benefit of the St. Petersburg branch of the Union of Architects and the entire urban planning community of St. Petersburg. Many important tasks lie ahead, and I will make every effort to justify your trust".
