From September 10–12, 2026, the 15th International Architecture Festival "EcoBereg" will be held in Samara on the banks of the Volga river.
The festival will be held under the motto "Where the Volga Meets Samara. Merging. Creating." The business program will focus on the development of coastal areas and the creation of a comfortable and environmentally sustainable urban environment.
Currently, NII PG is participating in the development of the Unified Territorial Planning and Urban Zoning Document for Samara, as well as the territorial planning scheme for the Samara Region.
As part of the festival's business program, NII PG representatives will present papers on current issues of spatial development.
Olga Druzina, Deputy Director for Urban Development Economics, will present transformation of urban environment of Samara in the Unified Document.
Irina Popova, Deputy Director for Territorial Planning, will present an experience in embankment development in Gelendzhik and Tuapse.
EcoBereg will bring together architects, urban planners, representatives of the professional community. For Samara, where the Volga is a key element of the city's natural and spatial framework, the festival's theme is particularly relevant.
